Wilde Tigmi is the home of surf couple Fenja and Jamal. Jamal is the heart behind Surf Jamal Tafedna, and together they’ve created this unique place for those drawn to the water—surfers, fishermen, free divers, and ocean lovers of all levels. Just a few kilometers from the waves of Tafedna, Wilde Tigmi offers a welcoming space to explore the coastline, join an all-inclusive surf retreat, or simply connect—with the sea, with fellow travelers, and with the land itself.

What to expect from a surf retreat at Wilde Tigmi

Spend a week in our ocean-view retreat, just a short distance from the waves of Tafedna. A perfect base for surfing, exploring the coastline, or unwinding in nature.
Jamal is an officially trained surf instructor with the Royal Surf Federation of Morocco. You’ll enjoy daily surf coaching sessions, with all equipment and a wetsuit provided. Suitable for complete beginners as well as more experienced surfers.
You’ll have access to a range of surfboards suited to your skill level—from soft boards for beginners to more advanced boards for experienced surfers. We make sure you have the right equipment to enjoy and improve your surfing safely.
Jamal will drive you from the house to the local surf spots daily, making it easy to catch the best waves. We also organize day trips to nearby surf breaks if you want to explore different spots along the coast.
Our rustic beach cabin overlooks the waves and is the perfect spot to surf, eat, and relax under the sun. It’s a favorite hangout where you can soak up the ocean vibes and recharge between sessions.
When the swell allows, we take you on a trip to a secluded surf spot beyond Tafedna—offering a unique and exciting surfing experience away from the usual spots.
We serve breakfast and homemade local dinners at the house. Lunch is available at the surf shack. Tea, coffee, and snacks are offered throughout the day. All meals are made by our local staff, with healthy, locally sourced ingredients.

Our stylishly decorated Berber house, amid the Argan forest, overlooking the great Atlantic, consists of five rooms spread around a central courtyard. Three rooms have private bathrooms, while two rooms share the communal shower and toilet.
